Dog Training Q&A What Would Jeff Do?

What Would Jeff Do? Dog Training Tip of the Day #108

My dog is shaking, nervous, fearful, anxious..is that normal?

Its all contexual and depends on what the dogs previous behavior has been and what stage of rehab your dog is in.

With the first step of rehab you stop the unwanted behavior, then once the dog has physically stopped that behavior you have a dog that is still uncertain of what to do as well as the dogs unwanted energy is still there, so the dog still "wants" to do it but is not doing it..you can actually correct that though process as well. What you have left is a dog that is then out of balance, so until the dog has gone through the detox process you will see nervous, shaking, uncertainty. We see it all the time and we see the dog process and we see the dog come out on the other side successful.
