What Would Jeff Do? Dog Training Tip of the Day #126
I am sitting at a restuarant with my family including Angelo who is 5 and he is sitting politely at the table (as he has been doing since he was 48 hours old). The next table over the child is running around the restaurant creating nonsense. So......Angelo must be tired? that is why he is sitting quietly and the other child has not had enough exercise yet that day? Isn't that what we do, we like to humanize dogs, okay..I can play that game as well.
You don't need a tired dog to have a well behaved dog, sowhy is Angelo behaving? He is not tired at all, he is full of energy pretty much from the moment he wakes up to when he goes to bed.
Lets stop making the silly excuse that our dog needs more exercise in order to behave, there is a much simpler answer actually to why dogs behave and why children behave.
